چکیده

Objective The construction method of the discrete element model and setting simulation parameters in strip- blade-shaped sugarcane leaf are unclear. model’s accuracy greatly influences dynamic response characteristics between particles, it is necessary to improve through parameter calibration. Method optimized calibrated based on surface methodology (RSM) with physical angle repose as value. Firstly, basic leaves were measured by tests, was established multi-sphere polymerization XML method. effects filled different radii particles efficiency analyzed find optimal filling particle size model. Then, a Plackett-Burman test used select that significantly influence repose. Furthermore, value ranges three significant determined steepest ascent search test, second-order regression equation Box-Behnken combination obtained 21.15° target Finally, gas-solid coupling conducted trash content index compared field test. Result 2 mm. follows: static rolling friction coefficients 0.21 0.05, respectively, coefficient steel 0.30. There no difference content, maximum relative error them 8%, which further showed calibration reliable. Conclusions results modeling accurate reliable could be for subsequent research, well providing reference strip-and blade-shape materials.

Discrete Element Modeling of Dynamic Compaction with Different Tamping Condition

Dynamic Compaction (DC) is a common deep compaction method that is usually used for densification of coarse-grained soils. Although traditional continuum-based models such as the Finite Element Method can be successfully applied for assessment of stress distributions or deformations induced by DC, they are typically not adequate for capturing the grain scale mechanisms of soil behavior under im...
